Nature remixed: Strongbow degustation menu at Enfin by James Won

Strongbow Apple Ciders, the world’s leading cider brand, is introduced the Nature Remix Lab – an effort to reconnect its drinkers to nature and add a little more enjoyment into their every day. The Nature Remix Lab is part of the brand’s campaign that was activated in seven cities across the globe, and features innovative ways to redefine urban living through food and beverage, urban spaces, arts and various activations.

The first collaboration to take place for Nature Remix Lab is a degustation menu experience at Enfin by James Won, one of KL’s finest bars and restaurants. The establishment’s chef, James Won, put together a special degustation menu to be paired with unique Strongbow cocktails crafted by award-winning bartender and mixologist Jeffri S.

The degustation menu is a three-course one featuring a caviar macaroon à la Enfin amuse bouche, mushroom tofu, Hokkaido scallop, and sea eel as the first entrée, a stuffed confit sakura chicken as the second entrée, a Canadian lobster tail as the plat principal, and a Strongbow popsicle for dessert. The two cocktails created by Jeffri S. are the Woodfire and Dream Geisha.

The Woodfire cocktail features Strongbow honey with vodka and sweet juices. The addition of cinnamon and grapefruit add interesting spicy and sweet flavours to the drink. The Dream Geisha cocktail is made from Strongbow Elderflower with some crisp liquors and fresh juices added. The drink’s tart and floral flavours make it the perfect aperitif.

Available only until 31 August 2016, the Woodfire and Dream Geisha cocktails are priced at RM68++ each, while the degustation menu is priced at RM298++ per person.
