September has only just begun, but it’s already shaping up to be an thrilling month. There’s the upcoming Art at Curate event, where local foodies can sample Scandinavian cuisine, next week’s Singapore Grand Prix and yesterday’s launch of Apple’s iPhone 7.
To stay in the loop, we present you with this week’s cheat sheet to keep you in the know and up-to-date on everything that’s going on.
Eat

We’re always on the lookout for delicious new food, so we can’t wait to check out the upcoming third edition of Art at Curate, a dining series that showcases international chefs from Michelin-starred restaurants. The latest instalment features Scandinavian cuisine by chef Esben Holmboe Bang of three-Michelin-starred Maaemo in Norway, and offers mouthwatering dishes such as grilled scallop and langoustine sautéed in pine-infused butter.
Drink

Cognac house Martell has launched its new Martell Cordon Bleu Extra, an update of its classic Martell Cordon Bleu. The new brew is incorporated with old spirits from the Borderies area in the Cognac region, and contains delicate notes of candied fruit.
Beauty

Designer and style icon Victoria Beckham has teamed up with Estée Lauder on a limited edition makeup collection inspired by the vibrant cities of Los Angeles, Paris, New York and London. The new range features items such as eyeliners, nude lipsticks and eye shadows — so you can easily channel your inner Posh Spice.
Tech

The new iPhone 7, officially launched yesterday and is undoubtedly the most talked-about gadget of the moment. We are not completely sold on the smartphone’s missing headphone jack, but we have to admit that its new colours of black and jet black are pretty sexy.
